On 29th July between 3pm and 7pm CEST, OpenExO will be hosting the 2021 ExO Transformation Awards. The awards are a celebration of the achievements, accomplishments, and dedication of the OpenExO community.

OpenExO and its community have run approximately 50 sprints, 10 civic level and 40 organizational, countless workshops, keynotes, and custom programs all across the planet. We can track billions of dollars in economic value generated and it continues to grow every day!

This inaugural event is a glimpse into what the OpenExO Community has created and built towards transforming the world for a better future; our massive transformative purpose. “We've had the community up and running for the past 5 years but the distributed and open nature of our approach makes it difficult to fully track the amount of projects being done with clients all over the world. Additionally, there are many companies who've gone to apply and benefit the ExO attributes over the past years.”  - Jaroslav Dokoupil, Chief Learning Officer at OpenExO

Jaroslav continues “for these reasons and also inspired by the LATAM awards earlier this year, we have decided to organize the first ExO Awards, mainly as a way to highlight the work our community members are doing with clients and the broader impact the ExO tools have in the world. We've now had over 50 applications and over 600 votes (still time left to vote) so it's clear that the idea inspired interest among our community.”

Within the community, there is enormous experience, creativity, inspiration and hard work. Kent Langley, Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer at OpenExO, stated that through this event, “we want to recognize specific members in the community that have gone above and beyond and blazing a trail for all of us to follow.”

Applications have been evaluated alongside several criteria including the way the ExO framework has been applied and how much innovation has been applied as well as the qualitative and quantitative results it generated. HUNDREDS of votes are already and in the excitement is building! There have been over 50 submissions for 6 different award categories. Categories for the awards include:

New Company ExO Award - < 3 years old at the time of the application. For a company that used ExO attributes to launch its business

ExO Implementation Award - For a company that implemented the ExO attributes to enhance its current business model or create new growth opportunities

ExO Sprint Award - For successful implementation of the ExO Sprint methodology for a client organization

Winners in each category will be announced and have the opportunity to present their project/initiative and share the results achieved. There will be three prizes in each category.  First prize in each category will receive 10,000 EXOS tokens, second 6,000 EXOS tokens, and third 4,000 EXOS tokens.

The event will also include the latest information about the OpenExO community from leaders in the community. There will be a review of current and future activities including updates about a unique crowd-sourced effort in which 200+ collaborators are currently writing the second edition of the Exponential Organizations book which will be published in the Fall of 2021. And, there might just be a few surprise announcements to share if we are lucky!
